As I read and learn from other beading enthusiast I meet neat folks.

My next spotlight guest is a woman that I initially met through the writing community of Squidoo.

We were in a niche community called 'Rocketmoms' where we took on writing challenges to learn to improve our writing skills in a safe environment of supporters.  The group has evolved on to other things but friends and acquaintances have remained.

Grandma Marilyn caught my attention because of her beadwork.

Surprised aren't you?

She does some beautiful work and she not only makes these items but she also creates and sells patterns of her creations.

Marilyn's beadwork is called beadweaving and once you visit her many sites and see some of the things that she has created I believe you will find her inspiring as much as I did.

You will find that Marilyn stays very busy, she can be found several places on the internet.  I have provided some links to find her at the very bottom of this post.

So without further ado:  Grandma Marilyn

In February 2011, I became a real writer. I did not realize that I had it in me. I joined Squidoo for one of the beading groups I belong to but only wrote a couple of thrown together lenses because I didn't know what I was doing. Then a year later started writing again but not getting anywhere until I joined...

My first guest is a woman that inspires me with her work, her life and outlook on life despite her challenges. Beth Rintala.  I came to meet Beth on Facebook in a beading group we both belong to, then found we were both Etsy shop owners as well.  We struck up conversation and poof! a new friendship was born.  Read more about Beth and I believe you will be inspired as well.

I work from home since I had to retire due to chronic Rheumatoid Arthritis, and also Osteoarthritis in my spine. I consider myself handi-capable, in spite of my setbacks. I look forward to each day and do my best to make it a good one! I have a wonderful, supportive husband, three super children and seven outstanding grandchildren :)

I have always been into so many crafts, and my Mom taught me most of them, (along with being a great cook)!

All my creations are one-of-a-kind (OOAK).
I take great pride in creating beautiful jewelry using only quality gemstones, specialty beads, and use only the best of materials in each creation. Rest Assured I still shop all over the world for the best quality gemstones, etc. at the best prices,...
